Step 1. Open the wallet from the zkSync portal website.


Step 2. Connect the first layer Ethernet wallet to the second layer zkSync.


Step 3. Choose a prepared wallet, usually a fox wallet.


Step 4. Allow wallet login and authorize zkSynce's usage channel.


Step 5. After logging in, click on 'Add funds' to start depositing funds. The minimum threshold for this project is 1000U.


Step 6. After selecting the currency and quantity to be transferred in, select Add funds; Alternatively, by clicking on Buycrypto in the upper right corner, you can use a credit card to deposit funds, but this method is not available in some regions. Please confirm in advance before using it; Here, we will demonstrate by directly depositing money into the wallet.


Step 7. Jump out of the MetaMask transaction window and click Confirm. Wait for a few minutes to complete the transaction; Due to the token being transferred out of the Etherchain Layer1, there is still a mining fee of over $20 required for the process.


Step 8. After completing the deposit, you can click Send to transfer the token to another wallet, or click 'Send to First Layer Etherchain' in the upper right corner to transfer the token back to the MetaMask wallet on the first layer.
