On July 16th, at around 6:00 AM, after more than ten hours of continuous pouring, the final batch of concrete was pumped into the mold, marking the successful completion of the 39.45-meter long, single-line pre-stressed concrete simply supported box girder for piers 152-153 of the He Xin Railway Bridge across the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail. This marks another major milestone for China Railway First Bureau, the contractor for the bridge.

It is understood that the construction section of the He Xin Railway Bridge over the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail, including the Dingyuan East Elevated Station, is a challenging and controlling project for the entire line. The upper structure is entirely composed of simply supported girders, including 38 simply supported girders and 15 continuous girders; the turning bridge is a (72.2+72.2) meter weather-resistant steel fully welded steel box truss girder. This steel box truss girder crosses the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail, the busiest and strategically most significant railway line in China, marking the first time this type of bridge has been constructed in the country.

The construction of the bridge's cast-in-place girders faced numerous challenges. First, the construction area is located within the operating section of the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail, with high-speed trains running constantly, posing an extremely high risk to construction safety. Second, the design scheme of the bridge over the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail is complex, with high requirements for construction processes and the need for precise control of construction accuracy. Additionally, the complex geological conditions of the site make construction difficult, demanding higher levels of construction technology and management skills.

Faced with these challenges, the China Railway First Bureau project team overcame numerous difficulties through scientific organization of construction, strict quality control, and ensuring the safe, high-quality, and efficient advancement of the project. The project team adopted a "pre-assembly, overall hoisting" construction method, effectively enhancing construction efficiency and minimizing the impact on high-speed rail operations. Meanwhile, the project department strengthened safety management, formulating detailed safety measures to effectively ensure the safety of construction personnel.

The successful completion of the cast-in-place girders of the bridge over the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail marks significant progress in the construction of the He Xin Railway. The He Xin Railway is a vital component of the national "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network. Upon completion and commissioning, it will further enhance China's high-speed rail network and play a crucial role in promoting the economic and social development of the areas along the line.

Moving forward, the project team will continue to uphold the spirit of "dare to fight tough battles and strive for excellence" and make every effort to advance the subsequent construction, ensuring the project's completion and commissioning on schedule, contributing to the national high-speed rail construction.
