On September 16th, the 20th China ASEAN Expo (hereinafter referred to as the East China Expo) opened in Nanning, Guangxi. The Hainan Provincial Department of Science and Technology was invited to participate in the Advanced Technology Exhibition of the East China Expo as a guest of the Expo. The exhibition areas were set up in the B2 Comprehensive Hall and the D3 Professional Hall, with an exhibition area of over 450 square meters.

Tingjie Agricultural Robotics (Hainan) Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the research and application of intelligent agricultural equipment. Gong Zhen introduced that after 7 years of continuous updating and optimization, this orchard plant protection robot has 15 patents, including 3 invention patents. Currently, the product has been promoted and applied in multiple places in Hainan. "We hope to reach cooperation with agricultural enterprises in Southeast Asian countries through the East China Expo.

At the B2 Comprehensive Hall, the "Wukong" unmanned submersible exhibited by the Nanhai Research Institute of Harbin Engineering University has attracted much attention and attracted many visitors to check in. Wei Tianjiao, Director of the Science and Technology Office of the Sanya South China Sea Innovation and Development Base at Harbin Engineering University, introduced: "This is a 1:1 scale replica of the 'Wukong' model, specifically brought from Sanya to Nanning by a large truck, in order to showcase the charm of deep sea technology on the international platform of the East China Expo

As a deep-sea unmanned submersible, the "Wukong" has repeatedly submerged to the bottom of the deepest Mariana Trench in the world, playing an important role in underwater exploration, rescue, salvage, and ocean research.

There are also controllable and naturally degradable plastic series products, agarwood products, and medical equipment independently developed by Hainan enterprises. Looking around the Hainan exhibition area, 56 units in key areas of Hainan Free Trade Port construction, including tropical and efficient agriculture, deep-sea equipment, advanced manufacturing, and biomedicine, have showcased their "leading" products. The themes presented in the exhibition area closely align with the strategic positioning of Hainan's "three zones and one center", highlighting the three innovative highlands of "land, sea, and air" and the construction of a "comprehensive health" system.

The relevant person in charge of the Science and Technology Achievements and Cooperation Department of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology stated that with the help of the advanced technology exhibition platform of the East China International Fair, on the one hand, it showcases the characteristics of scientific and technological innovation in key areas of Hainan Free Trade Port, and on the other hand, it also helps Hainan high-tech enterprises enter ASEAN countries and expand international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation.
