The new Poseidon platform 16+MW large capacity wind turbine in the whole sea area unveiled at the Carbon Expo is the product of Shanghai Electric based on China's largest offshore wind power case library. This unit is the world's largest single unit capacity and largest wind turbine diameter offshore wind turbine that has been awarded the bid. The unit can achieve platform based development, adapt to different basic forms and water depths, cover the entire sea area wind conditions, and can be expanded to 18MW.

The Haishen 16+MW all sea platform product features 123m carbon fiber blades, highly integrated drive chains, highly reliable electric pitch systems, mature yaw systems, and a more comprehensive electrical system layout, helping customers achieve higher returns with lower investment. The annual power generation of a single unit is increased by 40% compared to the previous generation product, and the power generation of all carbon fiber main beam blades is increased by 5% compared to glass fiber blades under the same weight and load level. In addition to high returns, the Haishen 16+MW all sea platform product has added over 40 special verifications to the prototype components in addition to routine testing to improve reliability. A single unit can output over 66 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity annually, which is equivalent to reducing coal consumption by 22000 tons and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 54000 tons.

Changchu No.1 500kW/3000kWh prefabricated cabin type energy storage module is a new product independently developed and designed by Shanghai Electric based on its profound all vanadium Flow battery technology and exhibited at the Carbon Expo. This product is positioned as a high security, high power and long-term energy storage system supporting the Fengguang Base, a new type of power system. It has the characteristics of high security, excellent economy, high efficiency, and wide adaptability. It has the advantages of high integration, system modularization, and intelligent operation and maintenance, demonstrating Shanghai Electric's strong strength in the field of energy storage.

In terms of efficiency, Long Storage No.1 500kW/3000kWh prefabricated cabin type energy storage module fully reflects the technical attribute of Flow battery power and capacity decoupling. It adopts 65kW high-power high-performance stack, four series and two parallel groups of 500kW battery packs, and the DC side efficiency is>85%; Combined heat and power supply, energy efficiency can reach 90%, and the cost of electricity per kilowatt hour can be as low as 0.2 yuan. The overall implementation of high integration, system modularization, and intelligent operation and maintenance provides reliable technical support for building a new type of power system with new energy as the main body.

2000Nm3/h alkaline electrolytic cell, ushering in a new era of green hydrogen development

In the field of hydrogen energy, Shanghai Electric has actively built the core equipment foundation of the "production, storage and application" link. Its subsidiary, Shanghai Hydrogen Age Technology Co., Ltd., has a world-class research and development laboratory for hydrogen production from Electrolysed water, which provides comprehensive basic support for key material research and development, component preparation, and product manufacturing, and provides a test platform for a full set of Electrolysed water hydrogen production products. In terms of demonstration application, Shanghai Electric has built the first "green hydrogen production storage use" integrated demonstration project applied in the industrial park in China, and it is also the largest multifunctional test and verification platform that can meet the requirements of 300 standard square PEM electrolyzers per hour in China.

The 2000Nm3/h alkaline electrolyzer product exhibited at the Carbon Expo is currently the largest hydrogen production product from Electrolysed water in China, and the maximum hydrogen production can be expanded to 2500Nm3/h to meet the needs of large-scale hydrogen production and hydrogen use application scenarios such as Fengguang Base and green chemical industry/metallurgy.
