Recently, a number of users have been found to have repeatedly violated the rules by using plug-in software or posting information about the sale of plug-ins on Moments. In response, the WeChat security team has conducted a special cleanup operation and will continue to increase thecleaning efforts.

Once the above behaviors are discovered and confirmed, WeChat will handle them in a tiered manner in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, the "Tencent WeChat Software License and Service Agreement", and the "WeChat Personal Account Usage Specification". Common Types of WeChat Plug-ins

One type lures users into directly downloading and using it with various gimmicks:

• One-click forwarding of Moments: Can batch forward text and video content from Moments and short videos sent by friends

• Android emulator: Simulates a mobile phone on a computer to log into WeChat and perform the same operations as the WeChat mobile client

• Red packet plug-in: Automatically completes the WeChat red packet grabbing action when a red packet message is received on WeChat

• WeChat Skin: Can change the WeChat logo icon and customize the WeChat theme

• WeChat Multi-open: Use multiple WeChat accounts on one device
