On August 23rd, at the "Enjoy 5G-A, Lead New Jingcai" launch event, Beijing Mobile officially announced the commercialization of 5G-A and, together with partners such as ZTE, jointly launched a new era of digital development in the capital. This launch event marks a solid step forward in Beijing's efforts to promote digital economic development, injecting strong momentum into the construction of a global digital economy benchmark city.

It is reported that, as of now, Beijing Mobile has opened more than 7,000 5G-A base stations, achieving continuous coverage within the Sixth Ring Road and suburban counties. This provides citizens with a high-speed, ubiquitous, and intelligent 5G-A network experience, laying a solid foundation for the development of the digital economy.

As a central enterprise assuming its responsibility, Beijing Mobile actively responded to the call of the Beijing municipal government, steadily promoted the construction and deployment of the 5G-A network, and took the lead in issuing the first national 5G-A Special Action Plan.

ZTE, as an important partner of Beijing Mobile, played a key role in the process of 5G-A commercialization. The two parties jointly completed the deployment of multiple innovative application scenarios, including video live streaming, cloud gaming, bare-eye 3D, XR, etc., bringing brand new service experiences to the people of the capital.

In particular, in the Yanqing UAV Industrial Park, the two parties jointly completed the deployment of the largest scale of 5G-A integrated sensing and communication equipment in China, and successfully achieved accurate identification of low-altitude targets such as birds, demonstrating the enormous potential of 5G-A in intelligent sensing.

At the launch event, Beijing Mobile also showcased the latest achievements of 5G-A empowering vehicle networking applications. ZTE supported Beijing Mobile in successfully completing end-to-end vehicle networking service verification based on low-frequency integrated sensing and communication base stations, realizing real-time perception of road vehicles and pedestrians, and achieving real-time warning of dangerous situations such as "ghost shadows" through full Uu port, contributing significantly to the development of smart transportation in the capital.

Beijing Mobile stated that it will continue to promote the construction of new information infrastructure such as 5G-A, continuously deepen the new information service system of 5G-A innovation applications, and bring unprecedented smart living experiences to the residents of the capital.
