Upon waking up, brushing my phone, and seeing four new breakthroughs in China's technology field, I am truly refreshed and excited!

First: It took 3 years! China's first digital twin intelligent scientific research experimental ship "Dolphin 1" sets sail for the first time

According to CCTV News, China's first digital twin intelligent research test ship "Dolphin 1" was delivered and made its maiden voyage at Yantai Penglai Port today, sailing from Penglai to Qingdao. On this maiden voyage, the ship will conduct a series of experiments to verify equipment performance indicators, conduct autonomous navigation and operations, and test the virtual real interaction ability of the digital twin system.

"Dolphin 1" is a project independently developed by the scientific research team of the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering of Harbin Engineering University in conjunction with several ship related colleges on the campus. The total length of the hull is 25 meters, and the displacement is 1000 tons. It has been completed after three years of construction. The ship is equipped with the first domestic digital twin system for ships, breaking through multiple key technologies.

These technologies include multi-source information fusion and collaborative detection technologies such as LiDAR, video images, solid-state radar, and acoustic signals, achieving intelligent perception of the marine environment and small targets, providing guarantees for autonomous navigation of ships. At the same time, a ship digital twin technology system has been established for the first time, including ship digital modeling, model iterative evolution, virtual real real-time interaction, online offline symbiosis, and ship shore mirroring, achieving intelligent functions such as ship autonomous navigation and remote control.

The successful development of 'Dolphin 1' will effectively promote the practical application and cutting-edge exploration of digital twin technology in China's shipbuilding industry, providing strong support for the upgrading of China's shipbuilding industry.

Secondly, the Chongqing Kunming high-speed railway has taken an important step! The Jinyun Mountain Tunnel is smoothly connected

According to China Railway WeChat official account, on June 29, the Jinyun Mountain Tunnel of Chongqing Kunming High speed Railway was successfully completed, marking the completion of all tunnels of Chongqing Yibin Section of Chongqing Kunming High speed Railway. The completion of this important node has laid a solid foundation for the early completion and opening to traffic of the entire line.

The Jinyun Mountain Tunnel of the Chongqing Kunming High Speed Railway has a total length of 3453 meters and a maximum burial depth of about 220 meters, crossing the main city of Chongqing, Jinyun Mountain. The geological conditions of the tunnel are complex, and the construction process faces many challenges, such as karst treatment, gas, water inrush, mud inrush, etc. To address these challenges, the construction site has adopted three arm rock drilling trucks and intelligent second lining trucks for mechanized operations, improving work efficiency and ensuring construction safety and quality.

In order to promote the timely completion of the project, the participating units, in collaboration with domestic and foreign experts, conducted research on the construction technology of tunnel mechanization supporting step method and the implementation of large machine supporting test, providing guidance and reference for the mechanization, informatization, and intelligent construction of the Chongqing Kunming high-speed railway tunnel.

Third: "RV Petrel" UAV made its first flight on the plateau! Assist in national level mobile meteorological observation operations

According to Guangming Daily, the China Meteorological Administration recently announced that the delivery of two "RV Petrel" aeroprobe high-altitude large UAVs was completed in Zigong, Sichuan Province, and the first flight of vertical meteorological exploration was successfully completed at the southeast edge of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. This first flight means the official launch of the national mobile meteorological observation business. Large high-altitude UAVs will play an increasingly important role in the future meteorological observation, typhoon, flash flood, mountain fire and other scenarios on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau.

The "RV Petrel" I UAV took off from Zigong Lantian Airport and arrived over the mission area, successfully carrying out the meteorological fine vertical detection mission. The drone successfully dropped 6 sounding instruments during its first national level maneuver observation mission. These two types of unmanned aerial vehicles have characteristics such as high flight altitude, long endurance range, and strong complex environmental operation capabilities, and are equipped with meteorological loads such as airborne sounding systems. Unmanned aerial vehicles can continuously detect atmospheric vertical profiles in specific environments, solving the problem of insufficient observation data in blank areas of meteorological data and complex environments.

These drones will provide first-hand meteorological information for important weather processes such as the Southwest Vortex, plateau meteorology, ocean (typhoon), as well as observation of weather and climate sensitive areas, emergency support for emergencies, and meteorological disaster prevention and reduction. Cao Xiaozhong, deputy director of the China Meteorological Administration, said that building a national mobile meteorological observation business is an important measure to implement the High Quality Meteorological Development Program (2022-2035) and will provide strong support for meteorological disaster prevention and mitigation.

Fourth: China's heavenly eye has detected key evidence of the Gravitational wave of NaHz, and domestic research has reached the international leading level

Recently, research teams from the National Astronomical Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatories of China and other units successfully detected the key evidence of the existence of the NaHz Gravitational wave using the Chinese Celestial Eye FAST. This achievement shows that the research on Gravitational wave in China has kept pace with the international research and reached a leading level. Relevant achievements were published online in the academic journal Astronomy and Astrophysics Research on June 29.

Gravitational wave is a spatiotemporal disturbance phenomenon predicted by Einstein's General relativity, which is called "ripples of space-time". Nanohertz Gravitational wave is a kind of Gravitational wave, and its detection will help astronomers to understand the origin of the structure of the universe.

Nanohertz Gravitational wave detection is a great challenge. The Chinese research team made full use of the advantages of China's Tianyan, such as high sensitivity, multi-target monitoring and high measurement accuracy, to systematically monitor a large number of Millisecond pulsar for a long time, and independently developed independent data analysis software. Through these efforts, China's detection sensitivity of NaHz Gravitational wave has rapidly reached the level equivalent to that of the United States, Europe and Australia, and has achieved major scientific breakthroughs.

The National Astronomical Observatories of China of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will continue to give play to the leading edge of China's heavenly eye, speed up the scientific research on the detection of the Gravitational wave in the nano hertz, accumulate more long-term observation data, gradually publish more accurate detection results, and help open a new window for the exploration of the universe using the Gravitational wave in the nano hertz. At the same time, the National Astronomical Observatory will also promote the expansion and upgrading of China's Celestial Eye, realize the routine observation of the Gravitational wave events in the NaHz, build the NaHz Gravitational wave observatory, open a new era of low-frequency radio observation and research, and accelerate the development of Gravitational wave astronomy and radio astronomy in China.
