Yesterday (24th), the final project of the six national energy supply guarantee projects in the eastern Inner Mongolia power grid - the 1000kV transmission project of the Jingtai Sour Cigou Power Plant Phase II - was officially put into operation.

After being put into operation, it can transmit 6.6 billion kilowatt hours of electricity annually to the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. In March last year, the country launched the construction of six major national energy supply guarantee projects in the eastern power grid of Inner Mongolia, including the construction of 1000 new iron towers and 450 kilometers of transmission lines with a voltage level of 500 kV or above.

After all of them are put into operation, about 60 billion kilowatt hours of electricity will be delivered to the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Shandong region every year, effectively enhancing the power supply guarantee capacity of North China and East China.
