On October 10th, at the construction site of the Jinghe Bridge at the National Major Water Conservancy Project - Shaanxi Dongzhuang Water Conservancy Hub, the last section of the main arch weighing 28.4 tons successfully reached the assembly point of 270 meters high after being pulled by a cable lifting system for 20 minutes, achieving the closure of the main arch of the bridge.

The Jinghe Bridge has a total length of 284 meters and is a through space Y-shaped steel box arch bridge. Due to the influence of the site terrain, the bridge structure presents a Y-shaped structure design in both the plane and facade, which is the first in China.

After the Jinghe Bridge is completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2024, it will become an important node project for the external transportation of Dongzhuang Water Conservancy Hub and a key landscape bridge project for the Guanzhong Canyon Tourism Belt.

Dongzhuang Water Conservancy Hub is the largest water conservancy project in Shaanxi with the largest storage capacity, highest dam height, and largest single project investment. After completion, it will effectively alleviate the flood control pressure on the Wei River, ensure the flood control safety of nearly 1.5 million people and 800000 acres of arable land in 9 counties and cities of Xi'an, Xianyang, and Weinan. At the same time, it will also reduce sediment deposition in the lower reaches of the Wei River and the Yellow River, alleviate the water shortage in the Weibei dry plateau, and optimize the water resource allocation and power supply in the Guanzhong region, It has significant economic and social benefits.
