It is reported that Tongyi Wanxiang has excellent performance in semantic understanding and picture generation, and the first batch of three abilities have been launched: among the basic functions of cultural and biographical maps, watercolor, flat illustration, anime, oil painting, Chinese painting, 3D cartoon, sketch and other style images can be generated according to the text content; In the similar image generation function, users can upload any image to generate AI artwork with similar content and style through creative diffusion; This model is also the first in the industry to support image style transfer. Users can upload the original image and style map, and automatically process the original image as a specified style map.

Tongyi Wanxiang is based on the combined Generative model Composer developed by Ali, which can provide a highly controllable and highly free image generation effect by disassembling and combining image design elements such as color matching, layout and style. Only one model can support multiple types of image generation tasks. This research achievement has been published on the International AI Summit ICML2023.

Alibaba Cloud demonstrated the effect of the model in generating pictures on the spot.
